We take you to our favourite local brocantes, flea markets and secret spots we've discovered over the years of living here.
You'll have:

This is one of the biggest things that sets our tours apart
We organise a consolidated container from France to New Zealand each year, and your purchases travel safely home with it, stress free and cost effective.
This means you can buy freely and not worry about weight limits.
5 Days With Us - What it Looks Like
We organise each tour around the best markets each month, We will meet you at the local train station and visit a couple of small Brocante shops on the way home.
-After settling in we will show you around our town before relaxing with wine and cheese and a relaxed welcome dinner.
- After breakfast we head out to some of our favourite brocantes exploring picturesque Villages. Sometimes we have lunch out sometimes we come how for a relaxed lunch in the courtyard. After lunch we head out to visit more of our favourite places. In the evenings we relax in the courtyard with an evening apératif and a delicious home cooked meal.
-Market days are usually on the weekend or on public holidays and in Summer there are a few mid-week markets. On market days we try to leave a bit earlier to get the bargains.
-You will get to explore beautiful medieval villages, hunt for treasure and soak up the atmosphere of the brocantes and markets that are such an important part of French life.

We had the most fabulous tour with Tracy and Nick. Their French home and garden are gorgeous. They were warm, accomodating and knowledgeable, taking us to lovely places to see and experience. The medieval festival and all the street brocantes were a favourite, as well as hidden barns full of treasures. We ate far too many pastries!

Romantique tours - we have done a couple of these over the last few years. Tracy & Nic the ultimate hosts. Great cooks & the setting in their courtyard is divine for dinners, such a stunning garden to enjoy with new friends you might meet on the tour. The bedrooms with gorgeous linens & decor to die for, it is sumptious, stunning bathrooms and atmosphere!!! Tracy & Nic took us to places we would never know about and we bought lots of goodies including an iron gate for our home and lots of china, linens, candlesticks and jugs. My recent experience staying at Tracey and Nick's incredible French Town House in Agen. From the moment I arrived, it felt like coming home .
The days started with an enchanting breakfast sipping tea from fine china , nibbling on local breads, croissants , and a collection of local market goodness . Ready for a day of exploring we headed off under the care of Tracey and Nick excited about the prospect of what we might discover at the local brocantes and Markets. They did not disappoint! every turn revealed charming antiques and unique finds, each telling its own story.
As the sun set, we spent our evenings relaxing with an aperitif (or two) dining on gorgeous dishes Tracey and Nick had prepared introducing us to local and favorite delights, while the evening bells rang out ,stories were shared, laughter was had .
This tour, in its entirety, came highly recommended, and I can wholeheartedly affirm that it surpassed all my expectations. I am already counting down the days until I can book my next adventure with Romantique Shopping Tours. Thank you for crafting such an unforgettable experience!
